His main focus has been swing trading, utilizing higher time frames like daily and weekly charts. Petar’s swing trading strategy is rooted in a mix of technical and fundamental analysis, with a particular focus on the Commitment of Traders (COT) report, which he uses to assess market sentiment.

In the interview, Petar shared that his strategy involves identifying key zones of supply and demand, and he aims to trade with institutional players like commercials while avoiding the moves made by retail traders. “I try not to trade with the crowd,” Petar explained. He also highlighted the importance of patience in swing trading, with some of his trades lasting several weeks or even months.
Petar emphasized the advantage of swing trading for beginners, noting that the slower pace allows traders to make more calculated decisions without the stress of intraday volatility. He also stressed the importance of risk management, revealing that he caps his risk at around 1-1.5% per trade to stay within prop firm limits and avoid significant drawdowns.
Petar also discussed his motivation for trading, focusing on curiosity and a passion for the markets rather than financial gains alone. “Money will come by extension if you love what you do and work on getting better every day,” he said.
